Plug ‘n Play

A 7-story apartment building located on a narrow lot along Brighton Boulevard in Denver, co. The building leans in to its small footprint and location in an outdoor recreation hub, forgoing "luxury" amenities in favor of larger units, greater connection to the outdoors, and lower rents. It is also radically sustainable: possessing limited space for on-site car parking reduces carbon intensive concrete, while 100% pre-fabricated mass-timber walls and floors reduce construction time and act as a carbon-sink. Ground level retail and amenity areas support 4 levels of studio and 1-bedroom units with 2-story penthouses occupying the top floors. An angular aluminum brise-soleil provides privacy and controls sunlight through the all-glass facade.
