Arapaho Mid-Mod

Located in Arapaho Acres, a subdivision dating to the 1940s, which contains some of Denver’s premier examples of mid-century residential design, this home was of fantastic pedigree, but was in desperate need of updates when we were approached by the new owners. Our approach emphasized a light tough, choosing to give deference to original Details whenever possible, and using them to inform choices for new materials and elements. Scope of the project included gut remodel of primary living area, kitchen and bathrooms with 100% new fixtures and finishes, custom casework and new appliances. We restored elements of the vintage post-and-beam ceiling and added custom lighting throughout to accent and highlight period details.
